What does the onboarding process look like for High Networth Individuals?
The onboarding process for HNWI has 4 simple steps:
Sign up to Skyline Digital by using this link- https://app.skylinedigital.xyz/
Follow the onboarding flow to complete your KYC, including a live video interview.
Respond by email to additional information requests by the Skyline compliance team (if any).
Receive an approval email from Skyline and log into your account to execute your transaction.
What information will I be required to provide during the process?
You’ll be asked to provide the following information:
Identification: full name, date of birth, residential address, nationality and contact details (email, phone number), and a valid passport (no driver’s license).
Proof of Address: utility bills, official correspondence, or bank statements (needs to show your full name and address and be no older than 3 months).
Personal Information: simple questionnaire regarding the reason for opening the account, professional background, and source of wealth/funds.
Web3 wallet whitelisting: indication of the wallet you will use for Skyline’s services.
Supporting documents: we need to establish the source of the funds that will transit through us - the more comprehensive your documentation, the faster we can approve you.
What should I expect from the mandatory Live Video Interview?
As a Swiss regulated company, we are mandated to perform live video interviews of all our clients. This is the last step of the onboarding process and is performed by independent operators.
Please take the following precautions to ensure a smooth video identification process:
Be alone in the room.
Do not talk to anyone else during the video identification process.
Have your passport ready (no driver’s license).
How do I link a third party to my account (my assistant, accountant etc.)?
You have two options to link a third party to manage your account and make transactions on your behalf:
Option 1: Observer- The third party will be required to have a Skyline account, but does not need to pass a personal KYC. During the onboarding, the third party selects “not the HNWI”.
Option 2: Authorized representative- The third party needs to a) onboard fully and perform a personal KYC; and b) provide a legal title pursuant to which he/she is acting on behalf of the HNWI (e.g., power of attorney, letter of authorization). We will then link the two accounts on your behalf in the back-end. Please inform us by Telegram @skylineotc or e-mail start@skylinedigital.xyz.
